The Eucharist is the unique presence of Jesus, something that I can share with residents of Regency extended care facility in St. Clair Shores and with patients at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit.
Having a gift to share with many people I otherwise never would have met — or those I may have been reluctant to approach — has encouraged me to engage with anyone I can who might need a gesture of support.
The Mass is simply how we live out Jesus' invitation to ‘do this in remembrance of me.’
I am not seriously into devotionals, but the time I do spend before the tabernacle gives me a feeling of quiet closeness with Jesus.
Experience it for Yourself
Jesus is truly present. Jesus is always with you. Sit in his presence and open yourself up to his voice.
